Jay's Bolognese sauce - inspired by great Italian chefs and his Sicilian heritage -- calls for simmering lean Angus ground beef along with San Marzanoplum tomatoes, onions, carrots, celery, peppers, zucchini, fresh garlic and basil. Milk and red wine are added and the sauce cooks for hours over low heat, reducing as the flavors intensify. Once the pasta is sauced, shredded Parmesan goes over the top with fresh parsley.
